No Refund & No Cancellation Policy
Important guidelines governing voluntary donations, charitable contributions, seva offerings, and accidental duplicate debit resolutions.
All financial contributions made to ISKCON Wave City Ghaziabad (Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple) via our website, payment gateway, QR codes, or direct bank transfers are strictly voluntary religious and charitable offerings (Daan). Consequently, no refunds or cancellations are permitted under normal circumstances once a transaction has been successfully completed.
1. Why Donations are Non-Refundable
As a religious and charitable trust, funds contributed by devotees are utilized in real time for immediate temple and social welfare activities:
- Immediate Seva Allocation: Contributions are immediately channeled into ongoing daily operations such as cooking sanctified meals for Food for Life, procuring cattle feed for the goshala, purchase of Mandir Nirman construction supplies, and conducting daily deity worship.
- Section 80G Statutory Exemption: When a donation is processed, a valid tax exemption receipt is issued under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and reported in Form 10BD to the Income Tax Department. Reversing a tax-exempt donation after official receipt issuance contravenes statutory tax regulations.
- Non-Commercial Nature: Donors do not purchase commercial products or merchandise. Donations represent an unconditional devotional dedication to Sri Sri Radha Gopinath.
2. Strict No-Cancellation Policy
Once a seva booking, festival sponsorship, daily puja offering, or custom donation has been submitted and approved by the payment gateway, cancellations cannot be entertained.
Pujas, abhishekams, and sankalpas are scheduled according to Vedic panchang timings and ritual arrangements. Pujaris and kitchen sevaks allocate sacred ingredients and schedule prayers in the devotee's name immediately upon receiving the booking.
3. Exception: Technical Anomalies & Duplicate Debits
We recognize that technical anomalies (such as network drops, double-clicks, or bank gateway timeouts) can occasionally result in an unintentional duplicate charge. In such rare and verifiable scenarios, ISKCON Wave City provides a transparent resolution procedure:
- 7-Day Written Reporting Window: The donor must report the duplicate transaction in writing within 7 calendar days from the date and time of the transaction.
- Proof of Duplicate Debit: The donor must provide documentary evidence (e.g., bank statement or gateway debit alerts) demonstrating that their account was debited more than once for the exact same intended single offering.
- 80G Filing Status: The duplicate refund request must be made prior to the formal annual filing of Form 10BD with the Income Tax Department.

4. Investigation & Refund Timeline
Once your claim and supporting documents are received, our accounts department will reconcile the transaction logs with ICICI Bank Payment Gateway:
Our finance team verifies the claim with bank records within 2 to 3 working days.
Approved duplicate refunds are credited strictly back to the original source bank account/card within 7 to 10 working days.
* Note: In no scenario will refunds be disbursed in cash or to an unverified third-party account.
5. Dispute Resolution & Chargeback Policy
Devotees and donors agree to contact the ISKCON Wave City accounts desk directly to amicably resolve any transaction discrepancies before initiating a chargeback through their issuing bank or card provider.
Filing unjustified chargebacks for intentional voluntary donations violates these terms. Our temple administration will provide official transaction logs, IP history, and Form 10BD receipts to the payment aggregator and card networks in response to any chargeback notice.
Our temple finance team is here to assist you with care and devotion.
